The natural surrounds of Doutta Galla Woornack is a haven for local birdlife who are regular visitors to the grasslands and shady willow trees. The residence has five interlinked houses with one being a secure memory support house and each with its own courtyard. Our residents share a sunny central dining room and gather daily to participate in an active lifestyle program of cultural and spiritual events, physical exercise and music performances
Woornack’s central location means residents enjoy easy access to buses, trains and community hubs such as the RSL, local churches, Sunshine Plaza and the lawn bowling club.

Doutta Galla Woornack was built in 1998, extended and refurbished in both 2002 and 2009.
There are 63 spacious rooms all with private ensuite bathrooms. We also have a secure dedicated memory care unit with16 beds supported with qualified staff and dementia specific programs and activities.
The residence offers a mix of care options, including permanent and respite care. Doutta Galla Sunshine is a home for people who value their independence and quality of life, knowing that comprehensive care is available when they need it.
