Doutta Galla Queens Park aged care residence in Moonee Ponds is situated opposite Queen’s Park Lake, in a soothing and peaceful setting.
Our residence is a short walk from Puckle Street. Our staff, residents, families and volunteers are proud of the homelike atmosphere they create together. There is always something going on – a busy lifestyle program keeps everyone active and socially connected.
The local swimming pool, recreation centre, racecourse, theatre and library are all nearby so residents can continue to enjoy their favourite activities.
Queens Park has a group of dedicated volunteers and some have been with us for more than 13 years. They support individual residents and facilitate activities and workshops. Our famous pop-up cafe called “Café on Queens” was started by volunteers and is a weekly highlight.
For individuals who like to use their hands and create, we can suggest participating in various handy-person activities.
